A carrier's truck is free? Send it your load
The vehicle exchange in AESA Core TMS: find a carrier's free truck, send your load in one click and agree the details in chat. No fee until 31 Dec 2026.
Published

Instead of phoning carriers, you see which trucks are free right now and send them your load in one click. That is what the vehicle exchange does in AESA Core TMS, the system for orders, carriers and drivers. Your dispatcher no longer has to call around to find out who has a free truck.
What the vehicle exchange is
Until now the freight exchange in TMS showed loads. Now it also shows the other side: free vehicles that carriers have published themselves. You see at a glance who has a truck in the right country at the right time.
Open Exchange. The header has a Loads | Vehicles switch; click Vehicles. You will find the same switch under My loads.
What you see for each vehicle
The list shows what you need to decide at a glance:
- When the truck is free. Today, tomorrow, or in a few days.
- Where it is. Country, postcode and city.
- Where it wants to go. The countries the carrier has listed.
- What kind of truck it is. Body type, payload in tonnes, loading metres and pallet spaces.
- Equipment. ADR, tail lift, GPS.
- The carrier and their rating.
Only the vehicle's owner sees the licence plate and the driver's name. Everyone else sees the type, body, capacity and equipment.
How to narrow the list
Click FILTERS. The panel contains:
- Route: the vehicle's country and postcode, and the destination country,
- Dates: Today, Tomorrow, This week, Next week, or custom days,
- Vehicle: body types,
- Partner: rating, and an option to leave out blocked carriers.
Active filters appear as chips above the table. Next to the search box you can switch the sorting between Newest and Free from.
How to offer your load to a carrier
Click a vehicle row. The detail opens with a map of the location, the direction of travel, a note and the carrier's card. At the bottom is the Offer cargo button. You have two ways to go:
- Choose from my cargo. Choose one of your active cargo items and click Send cargo. The carrier sees it and can send you a price proposal. Public cargo stays public. Cargo you have already sent to this vehicle cannot be sent again.
- New cargo. The form is pre-filled: loading is where and when the truck is free, unloading is in the country the carrier wants to go to. You add the city and the remaining details. Only this carrier will see such a load, so its visibility cannot be changed.
If you have blocked the carrier, a warning appears first and you continue with Continue anyway. If you lack the permission, the button is grey and tells you where to get it: an administrator grants it under Team → Permissions.
Once the deal is confirmed, the carrier finds the vehicle and driver pre-filled under Assign vehicle and driver, taken from your offer.
Agree the details in chat
Want to ask a question first? In the detail of another company's vehicle, click Message the carrier. A chat opens. At the top of the thread you see the vehicle offer number, where it is and where it wants to go, the body type and capacity, and an Open offer link. The carrier sees the same thing, so nobody has to explain from scratch.
VIP vehicles
A carrier can offer a vehicle only to your company or to a group you belong to. You will find it under VIP Exchange, in the Vehicles for your company section. It is handy when you have regular carriers and want them to offer you free trucks first.
If you are a carrier: Offer a vehicle
Under Vehicles, click Offer vehicle and pick a truck from your Fleet. Type, payload and length are filled in from the Fleet. The place and the Free from time are pre-filled from the vehicle's last unloading or last known position, and you can always change them. Add the countries you can go to, a note without phone or e-mail, and publish the offer publicly or to a VIP group. A vehicle has only one offer at a time. If you try to offer it twice, the window points you to the existing offer through Open the existing offer.
